Need not say much for the food, there's already many great reviews about it. Something that I must shout out to is the waitress (didn't get her name, but she has long curly hair) that attended to us, she is a such a cheerful, attentive lady. Always carrying a smile. She is one that serve with a and passion. 6 stars for you. When we were leaving, she and her co workers also leave us a good impression. If anyone else complain about their service in future, I must say it must be a (karen) customer. Great service must go along with great tip, so please be generous to keep their fire burning

I love, love, love this place. I have eaten here 3 times. The food is amazing, the staff is attentive and kind, great service overall. King crab Mac n cheese is amazing as is the gumbo, chicken wings, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and shrimp Étouffée. Don’t forget sweet tea and warm beignets for dessert! I will be back with even more family and friends next time.

I have been in Cali for 5 days and this is the 1st spot I hit that I can say I enjoyed. The catfish, Oysters, and shrimp were fried just right 5/5. The Mac and cheese was tasty as well 5/5. The only thing for me was the red beans and rice could have been seasoned more 2/5. The gumbo was a huge bowl with plenty of meat 4/5 I would have preferred blue crab instead of king crab It was tasty shrimp po boy:5/5 my husband said so. Desserts: peach cobbler 5/5. Sweet and taste. Banana pudding 3/5. I don't know, it was missing something for me but my daughter enjoyed it. Server was polite. Food came out timely. Overall, I would go back again.

*I’m from a one stop light town in the south so I know Soul Food* This spot is busy so don’t let that discourage you. Me and my buddy were riding by saw a line out the door and figured why not give them a try. Stevie’s did not disappoint!! I ordered fried chicken, Mac& cheese and red beans w/rice although it was amazing I got plate envy from my buddies Gumbo. Man that was some good gumbo. Oh! The cornbread w/ peach cobbler whipped cream was If you’re in the area please try this place even if you have to wait 45min. It’s worth the wait.

First time trying coming from Florida, I really wanted to try the gumbo, it was really good and spicy. I never had gumbo before this was my first time trying it. It had crab legs , rice on the bottom, sausage and shrimp 10/10 . I also came back to try their breakfast menu. The shrimp and grits was A1 for sure and my waffle was so good 10/10. I definitely recommend trying this place.

Had to check out this highly rated creole seafood restaurant Stevie's Creole Cafe in Los Angeles, CA. Small location with limited seating but we were able to get a nice window seat in the corner. The menu has so many options that it is challenging deciding on what to order. Good problems! We ordered seafood gumbo, Stevie's Special Chopped chicken bowl (2), with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. An order of honey cornbread and biscuits with peach honey butter. Chicken fried and then chopped up. Then cooked on the grill with gravy and green onions and then served top white rice. This dish was flavorful and very good! The gravy is homemade with superb flavor and taste! The rice was a little gummy and it didn't matter the dish was still a 5 out of 5. The macaroni and cheese was good cheesy and seasoned with a 4 out of 5 rating. The collard greens had a good taste and the pot liquor was superb. Just wasn't a fan of the texture of this order of collard greens. The texture was the only reason these were a 4 out of 5 and not higher. The honey cornbread was really good and tasted homemade not from the box with a 4.5 out of 5 rating. The biscuits were also home made and fluffy with a good texture. Tasted okay texture and presentation great with a 4 out of 5 rating. The seafood gumbo was good. Great job with the roux. If you love King crab then you will love this gumbo. I would rate their gumbo a 4.4 out of 5. The presentation is a 5! The service at this location was Awesome! Everybody I mean everybody was friendly and they operate as a unit with everyone helping everyone! The service reminded me of back home in the South! I will visit this place every time I'm in Los Angeles for the rest of my life! If you like seasoned food with high flavor profiles then this is your place!

Their seafood gumbo was absolutely delicious and so flavourful! The cornbread was perfect, we even took some to go! Our waitress was very friendly and very helpful since it was our first time visiting. We will definitely be coming back. It gets crowded on Sundays we had to sit outside at the tables on the sidewalk. Not the best place to be as a guy sitting behind us decided to light up a cigar. Good thing we were done eating and I could leave before getting an asthma attack

Phenomenal Experience at Stevie’s Creole Café! Stevie’s Creole Café is hands down a hidden gem and an absolute must-visit if you love authentic Southern comfort food with serious soul! The gumbo was rich, flavorful, and packed with perfectly cooked seafood and sausage every spoonful was a warm hug. The cornbread? Unreal. Moist, slightly sweet, with that golden crust that just melts in your mouth. I could’ve eaten a whole tray! And don’t even get me started on dessert. The beignets were pillowy, fresh, and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar like a little piece of New Orleans right here. I finished with the banana pudding, and let me just say: it was heavenly. Creamy, nostalgic, and made with love. The staff were incredibly friendly, the vibes were cozy, and the food came out hot and fresh. You can tell this place is run with pride and passion. My husband and I are visiting from Bahrain and Morocco, and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience. This was a true taste of Southern hospitality and flavor we’ll be talking about this meal for a long time!
